Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about your next pair of handmade boots.
How do I determine my correct size for JK Boots?
We recommend using our specialized sizing guide or a Brannock device. Since our boots are handmade and use premium leather, they may fit differently than standard sneakers. Most customers find their best fit is a half-size down from their typical athletic shoe size.
What is the typical break-in period for a new pair of boots?
Due to the high-quality, thick leather construction, a break-in period of 2 to 4 weeks is common. We recommend wearing them for short periods daily with thick socks until the leather conforms to the unique shape of your feet.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we ship our boots worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by destination and are calculated at checkout. Please note that international orders may be subject to local customs duties and taxes.
What is your return and exchange policy?
We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of delivery, provided the boots are in brand-new, unworn condition and in their original packaging. Once the soles show signs of outdoor wear, we can no longer accept them for return.
Can JK Boots be resoled or rebuilt?
Absolutely. Our boots are constructed using traditional stitchdown or Goodyear welt methods, making them fully rebuildable. This ensures that with proper care, your boots can last for decades.
How should I care for and maintain the leather?
To prolong the life of your boots, we recommend cleaning off dirt with a damp cloth and applying a high-quality leather conditioner or oil every 3-6 months, depending on usage and environmental exposure.
